    We invite you to join us for a detailed description of how we envision the Global Engagement Network will be structured, including membership benefits and next steps.  We will then spend some time getting to know each other as a group in advance of the breakout workgroup sessions.  Your input will also be solicited.

  • Morning Break

  • Workgroup Ideation Session

    11:00 AM - 12:30 PM

    Current members suggested topic areas they would like to work on as we exchange ideas and build case studies. Categories include: Co-production of health (what can be tied together to improve HC), Rural HC, Prescription Education, Advocacy and Pricing, Mainstreaming Multi-omics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Big Data, Population Health. Here we decide what and how.

  • Lunch

    12:30 PM - 1:30 PM

  • Voting on Workgroup Areas

    1:30 PM - 2:00 PM

    Members will be invited to determine work-group areas by voting for the first subjects the Network will undertake. Additional subjects can be added as interest in those new areas expands.

  • Initial Breakout Workgroups

    2:00 PM - 4:30 PM

    International attendees will determine specific goals and objectives for their group.

  • Networking Event

    5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

    Hyatt Regency O'Hare

    Food, drinks and a playing card scavenger hunt, like you have never seen before.

  • Workgroup Meetings Continue

    8:30 AM - 11:00 AM

    Workgroup plans are developed, work assignments are developed, contact and work between plenary meeting schedules are established, initial spokesperson identified.

  • Report Outs and Next Steps

    11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

    Return as a large group, five minute report outs from work-groups, comments and questions. Meeting closes.

  • Afternoon Free Time

    There are plenty of things to do with the people you've met in the Global Engagement Network that are close to the hotel and don't require any special transportation.  Please see the Hyatt information under the Hotel tab on this site.
